Blausee - Romantic Forest Lake

Blausee is a small lake, in Switzerland, in the Kander valley above Kandergrund at 887 meters, near the river Kander. Administratively, it belongs to the Bernese Oberland.
The lake was created by a landslide more than 15000 years ago. The mineral-rich crystal clear water of the lake also feeds the trout farm. The Blausee is known for its outstanding quality of the fish and even has its own hatchery.
Blausee has a maximum depth of 10 meters, but yet you can spot individual rocks and logs at the bottom of the lake.
